Join Gulf Breeze Rotary in making a lasting impact on our community by partnering with us for the Gulf Breeze Rotary Annual Gumbo Cookoff! This beloved event, now in its 21th year, has raised over $1.2 million in scholarships for deserving local students. By teaming up with us, you’ll help provide life-changing opportunities for students who might not otherwise be able to pursue their education. Each year, we award $6,000 scholarships to honor the dedication and hard work of these students, both in school and in their communities.
Your support is crucial to continuing this important tradition. Together, we can make a real difference for our local youth and ensure a brighter future for all. Let’s make this year’s Gumbo Cookoff the most successful yet!

GUMBO COOKING TEAMS

Entry fee is $100. (NO FEE for licensed food vendors.)
Booth location is based on application date.
Paying teams receive 10 event tickets to sell or give away ($150 value).
All teams receive 4 event & beverage tickets for team members ($72 value) on event day.
Each team must cook 15 gallons of gumbo on site at the event (ingredients and base may be prepped in advance.
Rice, serving cups & spoons are provided.
Booth decorations are encouraged.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners will be awarded.
People's Choice awarded for the most CASH tips collected during the event.
Judging begins at 12:00 and announced at 2:00.
