Who We Are
Service, networking, learning and fun define the award-winning Rotary Club of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Founded in 1973, our club has grown to more than 130 members – all leaders in the community and area businesses. We take great pride in our recognition of outstanding leaders and students in Gulf Breeze. Our signature scholarship program has donated more than $500,000 to 156 high school seniors since the mid-’80s.
In our Tuesday breakfast meetings at the Andrew's Institute, we learn about the many great things happening in our community, and where we can offer support. Working together on local and global service projects and fundraisers expands our social and professional networks.
We are especially dedicated to ending polio in our lifetimes. Rotary members have persevered in this fight since 1979 to help eradicate polio in all but three countries.
We are famous for our decade-old family-friendly Gumbo Cook-off fundraiser held every spring. Our newest major fundraiser is the Chappie James Run (Bridge to Bridge 5k) in October – a breathtaking walk/run from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze across the Three Mile Bay Bridge.
We invite you to learn more about our club and Rotary International - a service organization of 1.2 million people worldwide whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services: encourage high ethical standards in all vocations: and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
