​Participated in Rotary Fight
Against Hunger for Manna Food
Bank - contributing $3,500 for food packet supplies,  and volunteers to assemble food packets

Contributed $2,500 to a 20-mile pipeline project in Northwest
Haiti that will provide clean water downstream of a stream to more than 10,000 people in 34 villages

Donated $1,000 for a Shelter Box in Nepal

Donated to the Rotary Youth Camp, a summer program for the disabled in NW Florida

Helped to build 2 home for Habitat for Humanity in Century

Provided holiday toys for children of area homeless veterans

Provided food to families in need during the holidays


Coordinated a Weekend Food Program for students from 5 schools in south Santa Rosa County and received a District Grant to provide basic school necessities for 11 schools 

Sponsored a fund raising event led by two Gulf Breeze High School students to install a clean water well in Nicaragua

​Recognized over 100 Rotarians, families, and friends with Paul Harris Fellow awards in honor of the 100th anniversary of The Rotary Foundation

Contributed to GB High’s
Project Graduation

Contributed $450 to Camp Happy Sands, a low-income program

Contributed $250 to the GB High Science Olympiad team


Contributed over $3,000 for laptops for Take Stock in Children participants

Contributed over $6,000 to support Baton Rouge flood victims

Participated as leaders and facilitators at Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp, and paid $600 for two GB High sophomores to attend

Sponsored the Gulf Breeze High School Interact Club; Karen Pace served as Youth Services director, Megan Hoffman as President, and Danielle Dorio liaison/advisor

​Held the first ever Rivalry and Respect combined Gulf Breeze and Navarre Rotary Club meeting with high school football and student leadership from the two high schools to help promote healthy rivalry and competition and stop destructive behavior

Honored Rotarian of the Year, Charlie Roose, and Service Above Self winner, Jim Green

Awarded “Citizen of the Year” to Martha Saunders, President of the University of West Florida

Rotary Club of Gulf Breeze members contributed over $34,000 to Rotary International Foundation annual fund to support humanitarian projects and  over $3,500 to Rotary’s EndPolio campaign

Awarded prizes to Elementary, Middle and High School students for participating in the 4-Way Test Essay Contest

Recognized top student leaders, scholars and athletes from GB High

Conducted Vocation Services “Career Day” at Gulf Breeze High School
