Mission:  Educate students for success by providing a superior, relevant education.

Revenue:  $291,176.860

How we spend the money - 76% of Operating Revenue is used for salaries and beneifts. 
We put people to work - 1883 Teachers, 743 Educational Support, 39 Maintenance Technicians, 104 Bus Drivers, custodial helpers, 92 Administrators, 5 Board Member and 1 Superintendent.

We pay bills -
  • $12,042,970 progected to cover medical insurance 
  • $1.9 million just for liability insurance
  • Diesel fuel $1,577,897.00
  • Electricity - $6412,221.00
  • Issued 46,880 payroll checks last year with an 2,123 direct deposit
  • We processed 47,200 purchased orders to over 5,673 vendors
  • 2015-16 we have budgeted over $15 million is capital projects (1/2 cent sales tax)

We protect children and employees
  • 15,172 computers service 30,000 students and emplyees
  • 53,000 emails are delivered each day with over 120,000 emmails blocked because they contain a harmful file.
  • 887,234 inappropriate websites were blocked on 9.16.2014
  • Data connectivity for digital resources was $356, 196/year
  • Phone bill is $11,043 per month or $132,516 per year without rebate
  • We spend over $534,000 on School Resource officers alone

We educate children
  • "A" ranked school district since performance metrics have been calculated
  • Ranked 2nd or 3rd in almost every category on performance on statewide test
  • Florida is 4th in the nation in increase in SAT/ACT proficiency, we rand at the top  (and abover state average) in the state
  • The class of 2014 produced nearly 2800 graduation seniors generating over 32 million in scholarships and grant in aide
  • Gulf Breeze High School had 200+ scholarship recipeients valued over 12 million dollars
  • Recently awarded the State Academic Championship from the FHSAA!
