This beloved event, now in its 20th year, has raised over $1.2 million in scholarships for deserving local students. By teaming up with us, you’ll help provide life-changing opportunities for students who might not otherwise be able to pursue their education. Each year, we award $6,000 scholarships to honor the dedication and hard work of these students, both in school and in their communities.

GUMBO COOKING TEAMS
INCLUDES |

Entry fee is $100. (NO FEE for licensed food vendors.)
Booth location is based on application date.
Paying teams receive 10 event tickets to sell or give away ($150 value).
All teams receive 4 event & beverage tickets for team members ($72 value) on event day.
Each team must cook 15 gallons of gumbo on site at the event (ingredients and base may be prepped in advance.
Rice, serving cups & spoons are provided.
Booth decorations are encouraged.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners will be awarded.
People's Choice awarded for the most CASH tips collected during the event.
Judging begins at 12:00 and announced at 2:00.
